My mediums consist of a unique blend of beauty and culture.
For every piece that I produce, I try to incorporate a little bit of my personality, making each of my pieces unique. From creating my very first narrative, “Buying Time,” to my most recent work, “Tinker Bell’s Waltz,” I love experimenting with new techniques and software to challenge myself. I’ve always been focused on the idea of “how can I stand out amongst other artists?” For example, my piece “Flor de Sakura” was designed in this new innovative software called Touchdesigner. I’ve always had an interest in creating 3D simulations of real-world objects and multi-projector outputs, especially since this software allows you to add your own Python extensions. “Flor de Sakura” was an experimental, cool psychedelic visual that took inspiration from my grandmother’s favorite flower, the sakuras. It was projected onto an iconic piece of architecture known as the Butteries at the Digital Graffiti Festival. Getting to speak to other artists about our common interests and inspirations gave me confidence as an aspiring digital artist and reaffirmed exactly what I want people to take away from my work.
